How on earth can ethnic minorities find Christmas offensive?
I saw this article on facebook. I have to ask one question.
HOW ON EARTH CAN ETHNIC MINORITIES FIND CHRISTMAS OFFENSIVE?
This is so stupid. I speak as an 2nd generation Indian of Hindu background.
For Hindus Christmas is a very important day. The reason being in most denominations of Hinduism they believe that Jesus Christ is a reincarnation of Lord Vishnu.
For people of Islamic faith Jesus Christ is a very important prophet.
This brings me to the point when people say that ethnic minorities are offended by Christmas. How on earth could we possibly be offended by Christmas?
Let’s take taxi drivers. Many of them are of middle eastern or Asian background. They make more money between 30th November and 2nd January than the rest of the year combined! I know some Islamic taxi drivers who charge 3–5 times the going rate from Christmas eve to Boxing day and they are booked solid? Do you think they are offended by Christmas?
What about takeaways? Again, many are run by people of middle eastern or Asian background. They make more money between 30th November and 2nd January than the rest of the year combined! Do you think they are offended by Christmas?
