In support of Dr Keith Wolverson

I was very upset to read Derby doctor who asked Muslim woman to remove veil found guilty of misconduct (1.)

Speaking as someone who knows all about the kangaroo court nature of the UK medical regulators I am confident that it was a stitch up from start to finish. He didn’t stand a chance.

I speak as a UK born and raised 2nd generation Indian living in the UK. I think it’s wholly reasonable to expect any immigrant to have a reasonable command of the English language.

How on earth can you examine a patient with her clothes on? It’s that simple.

The wonderful book called the Quran makes it very clear that you must be a fine upstanding model citizen respected by all. You must also positively contribute to your community giving back at least twice what you receive. (Depending on denomination.)

However I wonder how the complainant and her family would feel if they lived in an Islamic country that had banned the burqua on security grounds? We are too liberal in the UK allowing people to wear such garments.

Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Niger, Turkey and Tunisia have banned such veils on security grounds. (2) and (3.)

I welcome your comments.
