World Holocaust Day 2020
Today is 27th January 2020. It’s World Holocaust Day, the day we remember the 6 million Jews who were killed during the 2nd World War.
There are some things I cannot understand. If I got a bunch of babies, one of Christian background, a Hindu baby, a Sikh baby, a Buddhist baby, a Jewish baby, a black baby etc within minutes they’d be playing with one another. So why can’t adults learn from from them as the 30 second video above shows?
I have the great honour of having many Jewish friends. I am of Hindu background and it is a joy to invite them to Diwali our festival of lights and in return they always invite me to Hannukah their festival of lights.
I have friends who say that if you have a job then thank a Jew. The reason being they have built our economies and they create wealth. Somewhere along the line the existence of your job is there because a Jewish person created the wealth for your job to exist.
On this day please take 3 minutes to watch this video of one man who saved 669 children from the Nazis. Even my namesake would be in awe of this great man.
